Major Rides
Pepsi Max Big One
The Pepsi Max big One at Blackpool Pleasure Beach is among the fastest and biggest rollercoaster in the world. It is a high speed white knuckle ride that reaches heights of 235 feet above sea level and travels at speeds of up to eighty five miles an hour. The roller coaster is made of steel and was constructed by Arrow Dynamics at a cost of twelve million pounds. It is visible from a distance of over twenty miles and on clear days can be seen from as far away as South Cumbria across Morecambe Bay.
Infusion
A VekomaSLC and the first of its kind in the world to be built over water. (Formerly operated at Pleasureland as "Traumatizer" until 2006.) Then it moved to Blackpool Pleasure Beach due to the closure of Pleasureland in Southport. It can be safely said that it will not be moved for a while now as Blackpool Pleasure Beach has had the Highest numbers of visitors this year (2010) for a while also in consideration that the UK is in a financial depression.
The Valhalla
A indoor water ride, also known as a log flume in other common theme parks the Blackpool Pleasure Beach has to take it one step further, the ride is sequenced between a backwards drop and fire vs water show and a ice area. From hot to cold, the Valhalla has it all. This building once was a fun house before if burnt down in a huge fire, no one was hurt as the park was closed.
